Feeling Stuck Financially? Boost Your Financial Wellness With 5 Powerful Mindset Shifts.

Mindsets have a way of embedding themselves into our psyche and shaping our experiences, including our financial wellness. We don't always know when we first develop certain mindsets, and before long, they become part of our thinking and decision-making.

By shifting your mindset, and adopting these 5 powerful mindsets, you can give your financial wellness a boost.

1. "I Believe I Can"

Nothing else matters if you don't believe that you can. Having doubts? Repeat this simple affirmation daily until you believe it "I deserve financial success and I am capable of making the decisions that attract the financial success I want."

2. "I Can Take Control of My Finances"

Now that you believe you can, you need to know your current financial situation. Be honest with yourself as you take stock of your finances. If your current situation makes you feel embarrassed, ashamed, regretful, or sad, acknowledge it, work on forgiving yourself, and give yourself permission to move on.

Try this affirmation: "I acknowledge that I made mistakes or could have done things differently. I forgive my past self. I will learn from my past experience and do better going forward."

3. "I know What I Want"

You now have a clear picture of your current financial situation, but where do you want to go from here? Take the time to reflect and dream big. Don't get sucked into thinking of what you "should" have or want. What truly matters to you? How do you need to align your finances to support what you want?

4. "I Can Get What I Want"

It's time to make it happen. Start by writing a simple plan for what you want and how you think you can accomplish it. Don't feel discouraged if there are gaps in your plan, or you are not entirely sure how to accomplish your goals. Once you have it written down, the missing elements begin to reveal themselves and you can tackle them one at a time.

5. "I Am Supported"

No one accomplishes great things on their own. Enlist the support of an accountability partner (or two). Your accountability partner can help you keep your eyes on the prize and get back on track if you stumble.
